( @yeriie !! )
She was clearly disgruntled, but even in this state she found a compulsion to take care of those who are younger than her… while she complains, of course. In the break room of the company building, Sooyoung breaks her ( fairly large ) brownie in half and huffs, putting one half of the brownie on a napkin and placing it in front of Yeri. Hearing that the younger hadn’t eaten anything today broke her heart, and the brownie was the only thing she had– and well, she wasn’t supposed to be eating it anyway right before practice began, but– oh well.
“I mean–”, she sighs out, shaking her head. She was complaining about a group of people, but trying to be polite at the same time– so she wouldn’t call them out specifically. She just couldn’t, it wasn’t in her. “Am I just being petty? Or freaking out for no reason? It’s so rude to disrespect your elders… It’s even worse to disrespect them when they’re seniors in a profession you’re trying to excel in, you know? It’s not the way to get ahead… It just made my head hurt– it made everyone in SNSD’s head hurt so much when we saw and heard of them accusing us of copying them themselves. If normal people saw it, it could ruin them…”
Bringing herself to sit on the wooden floor beside the older female, Yeri placed her things aside; comfortably leaning against the mirror- for it gives her back cold and soothing feeling. She thanked the female as she held out half of the brownie she broke in a half, smiling small as she takes a bite before muttering a soft thank-you.
As she eats the brownie quietly, she watched as her senior began to speak out about the things that extremely annoys her- at least that’s what Yeri assumes from the look on her face. Frowning slightly at the mention of some group of people throwing some irrelevant comments at her senior group- if anything, SNSD is her favorite group, it’s no the fact that they’re her labelmates but it’s because she adores each and every one of the members’ hardwork and talents. After all, without them, the thirteen year old her wouldn’t had the guts to audition.
“No, I don’t think so. You are not being petty or freaking out.” She shook her head slowly, swallowing the brownie before she clears her throat. “I mean anyone would react the same way as you did if anyone throw comments like that at them. They accuse you guys for copying, anyone would be annoyed to be accused of such thing when they never copies anyone or anything.” she pauses for a moment. Despite being completely new on the industry, she had read and watched several news over the past years regarding to Idols’ life and the common competition going on between groups - and not to mention, some foreigners who accuse Korean Idols for copying them. “If I were you I’d be annoyed and it will hurt my head to see fake news spreading, especially when it involves me and my members. But then again, I guess you can never please anyone?” she rested her chin on her palm as she gazed up at the female. “People will always throw rocks at you no matter how good or talented you are. Simply because they’re jealous and wanted to be like you- and for those normal people, once they learn the case; they will figure it out right away which one’s the original and which one is not… Well if they are smart enough, that is.” She adds, lightly chuckling at the end of her sentence before it dies down and she chews her lower lip. “Is it some local girl group or? Because I’ve heard several similar cases before, and each time I read them I laughed it off because it’s clear they’re being delusional there.”
