She nods, hands shoved inside her pockets as she walks side by side with the older female, humming slightly. “I didn’t say we should check it out now—heh, I wouldn’t want to be squeezed in the crowds of grandmas.” She snickers, shaking her head at the thought. “Actually, unnie, same- I haven’t been to a festival in awhile. Trainees barely get break to enjoy going to places like this after all, and after debut there are schedules and school” Yeri pursed her lips as she looks around, trying to find something that might attract her attention. Squinting her eyes to see the small booth on their left, she then nudged the older female gently, “Unnie, should we go eat instead? There’s tteokbokki booth right there”
“I remember those days really well. Though I think it was a little different in my case since my other members and I went out quite frequently for a TV show we shot prior to debuting.” The female turned her attention towards the booth as she was nudged, it’s aroma immediately filling the surrounding area for anyone who grew close enough to smell it. “Eating is always an option. I think we’ll have more energy that way since I have a feeling it’s going to get even hotter as the day goes on.” She nodded in agreement and took a sharp turn towards the left, her hand fumbling through her small purse in search of a wallet. “You must be glad your trainee days are over though, right? I felt relieved when I didn’t have to train as much anymore. It was nice not to be too confined and actually see the world outside of JYP’s building.”
“Really?” Yeri glanced at the older, hands clutching on the straps of her small backpack as she skipped her way to the booth – matching her steps with the older female. “I don’t know—I barely follow news about groups back then, beside SNSD sunbaenim. I’m a huge fan of them, heh. But after getting into the company, I begin to like more groups as well – including yours, unnie! When I audition, at least five people used WG’s song for dance” she reminisced, smiling small at the memory. “These days, our company has a rookie project though – they show the rookies often, do you know SMRookies?” Yeri questions, before entering the booth, reaching out to take her wallet from her backpack as they found a seat. She nods as she flashes a smile, “But anyways, I am very glad, in fact. I thought I wouldn’t debut, even though I was already put in the SMRookies – the others seem to dance and sing better than I do.”
