(x)Rather than staying inside the dressing room all alone, Yeri chose to wander around the building as she waits for her manager to fetch her. She reached to take a pack of strawberry pocky on her bag, taking a pocky out and put it on her mouth as she grabs her phone, sending a text to her manager. She looks up from her phone as she was done texting, immediately spotting her labelmate; she flashed a smile and bowed back politely at the older male. “Oppa!” she greets, taking the pocky out of her mouth briefly, “Yeah, I’m still hanging around since manager oppa is not here yet.” She hums, before chuckling a little at his compliment and waved a hand at the older male. “Aigoo, you’re a little exaggerating there, oppa. But thank you, I’m glad I did well! I’m slowly getting used to it now, I never thought MC-ing would be this fun before” she took a bite of her pocky. “My bad” she pauses, before holding out the pack at the older male. “Do you want some, oppa?”
Listening to her words intently caused him to laugh at how humble she was. It reminded him of how it was for him when he just started out too. Except he was barely talkative at all in the beginning, it impressed him how well she was holding up. Both of his hands came up to wave off her retorts, “you know it’s true! You’re really young, and everyone’s going to love your energy. That’s the whole point of being an MC! Gotta pull the crowd in with your bright and bubbly personality. Which you’re doing fantastically well if I do say so myself.” He gives her two thumbs up, bowing his head to show his thanks to her offer before carefully taking a stick of the strawberry pocky. “Thank you! I haven’t had these in ages. I actually forgot they even existed.”
He bit into the strawberry covered biscuit, chewing thoroughly before he spoke again. “So, what are you still doing hanging around here? Last minute things?” After the words left his mouth he realized that he was being a little bit too nosy. At least, it sounded like that to him. “Oh gosh I sound all nosy don’t I?” A chuckle was given at his own statements, eyes drifting to look around at their surroundings. “I always feel like I’m one of the last people to leave, because I’m always going around trying to socialize with everyone since schedules make it hard to actually keep up with friendships.”
Slipping his hands into his pockets, he shifted his weight onto his other foot. He’d been standing for such a long time he was fairly certain he’d be collapsing as soon as his bed was in eye sight, after he got some food into his system, of course. “Oh! Are you hungry or anything? I could take you with me to go get some food if your manager is running late. There’s a place close by.”
Yeri flashed another smile; bowing her head as a sign of thank-you. She was thankful that she was doing well on her MC-ing, The constant words of encouragement and compliments she received from her colleague and her members, as well as her loved ones and her manager makes her wants to work even harder and she’s glad too, that she’s able to show her bright and bubbly personality despite being quite nervous at first. “Ah, thank you, Minho oppa!” she simply thanks the older, bright grin displaying on her face.
“No problem! Oh-” she pauses momentarily, “How could you go on for years without these?” she blinks, tilting her head slightly before taking another one from the pack and bites into it – looking up at the older male and shakes her head slowly, finishing the biscuit before speaking up again. “Manager oppa is still not here yet to pick me up—and no,” she waved her hand, smiling reassuringly as she shook her head once again. “You weren’t being nosy, it’s okay!” she nods as she clutch on her backpack. Her eyes scanned the area around them as well, realizing it’s the first time she manage to stay this late after the schedule, “Well, seeing as my manager oppa picks up really early and most of times, N oppa’s manager comes early as well – you’re probably are one of the last people to leave here.” She hums at the thought.
Eyes focused to the scenery out of the building, she then glances back at the male – before smiling sheepishly and nods. She had skipped lunch because she woke up late and she had to rush to get ready for her schedules earlier, but she was too busy greeting everyone earlier during the short breaks between each performance. “Uhm, I’m kinda hungry actually – but will that be okay though? You kinda look.. tired” she chews her lower lip, not wanting to burden the older male.
