Another successful Music Core episode had just came to its completion; much to his excitement. With his new MC companions at his side it seemed like things ran a bit smoother now. Unlike before, when they would switch them out constantly, and he wouldn’t exactly know anything about the humor or quirks of the people that they cycled in. Unless they had been on the show with him before. It was a little bit different after doing a few shows with Hakyeon, and Yeri. He liked to think he knew them rather well now. Enough to know how to act around them both. They all complimented each other in more ways than one. At least, he thought so.
He found himself wandering around backstage for what seemed like an eternity, even though only a few minutes had passed. His expression, a little lost, and a little confused was permanently etched onto his features. If anyone were to catch a glimpse at him, they probably would have laughed at the way he was walking around with absolutely nothing to do. But, what they didn’t know was after every show he liked to congratulate everyone on their successes, and wish them luck before he departed. Which explained his reasoning for still being in the same destination despite the show being over for a good ten minutes or so. As he continued to walk around the building with his bag of things slung over his shoulder; which he made a habit of carrying around because he never knew if he’d be able to stop home for a change of clothes, or some snacks in between schedules. He made sure to wave and bow while mumbling a few ‘thank yous’ to everyone he passed by. Taking a few more steps brought him face to face with one of his hoobaes, who also just so happened to be his coworker, Yeri.
A bright smile appeared on his face instantly once he realized who was standing in front of him. “Yeri! You’re still hanging around here too? You did really great today. Soon enough you’ll be even better then me!” He bows his head with a hearty chuckle at his own words, just to show his respect for her. He was always one to bow, even towards someone younger than him. It was just his way of showing them they were just as important. Which, in his opinion, everyone should feel equally as important as the next. Whether more experienced, or less. They were still a crucial part of the industry. As well as extremely talented.
It’s another week of Music Core episode, and fortunately, another week of successful emceeing job for the three emcees. It hadn’t been long since she was put in the MC position, and emceeing is literally something new for her, sure she had been put in simulations before during the training days but that was solo MC-ing and now she had to work with the other two males. She finds it enjoyable to emcee with the other two, and she’s thankful that one of the mc is her labelmate whom she had interacted with previously during her pre-debut days and even during their album showcase.
Flashing a bright smile at everyone, she greeted the staffs on her way back to the dressing room, raising her thumbs up at some idols that she passed by on her way. She hummed as she skipped to her dressing room, excited to take off the uncomfortable heels and change it into her favorite sneakers. Upon arriving on her dressing room, she pushed the door open, furrowing her brows as she sees no sign of her manager – where could he be? Usually her manager would pick her up rightaway after the show is done or even thirty minutes earlier. Shrugging her shoulders, she decided to change her heels into her favorite pair of denim sneakers and take her small backpack as well as her phone, before stepping out of the room.
Rather than staying inside the dressing room all alone, Yeri chose to wander around the building as she waits for her manager to fetch her. She reached to take a pack of strawberry pocky on her bag, taking a pocky out and put it on her mouth as she grabs her phone, sending a text to her manager. She looks up from her phone as she was done texting, immediately spotting her labelmate; she flashed a smile and bowed back politely at the older male. “Oppa!” she greets, taking the pocky out of her mouth briefly, “Yeah, I’m still hanging around since manager oppa is not here yet.” She hums, before chuckling a little at his compliment and waved a hand at the older male. “Aigoo, you’re a little exaggerating there, oppa. But thank you, I’m glad I did well! I’m slowly getting used to it now, I never thought MC-ing would be this fun before” she took a bite of her pocky. “My bad” she pauses, before holding out the pack at the older male. “Do you want some, oppa?”
